Before attending law school, I was a Russian-language translator. I graduated Vanderbilt University Law School in May 2012, and was admitted to the California State Bar Association in December 2012.
I started practicing family law as a volunteer in January 2013 with the Justice & Diversity Center of the San Francisco Bar Association. I subsequently took on volunteer cases for the Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County as well as Pro Bono Project in Santa Clara County.
After gaining some experience through pro bono work, I began taking private clients as well. At this point, I consider my practice to be very successful; however, I am committed to the solo practice business model. I have no full-time staff, as I aim to minimize overhead costs and pass on the savings to my clients. I very much prefer having fewer clients but satisfied clients.
By now, I have experience providing legal representation to my clients on child custody and visitation, child support, divorce, parentage, domestic violence, and adoption. I have handled these cases in Santa Clara County, Alameda County, San Mateo County, and San Francisco.
In April 2014, the Justice & Diversity Center of the San Francisco Bar Association awarded me with the 2013 Outstanding Volunteer Award.
I have handled numerous trials in family court. Most of my work, however, is aimed at resolving issues outside of court.
I have training as a mediator, and mediate many family law cases.
I am also qualified as a children’s attorney, and have represented many children in family court.
